Formed in 1969 at it's spiritual home, The Chequers Inn, the Brews are now one of the longest serving clubs in the Ashford & District Sunday League. Over the years the Club has had successful Reserve and Youth teams, but is currently down to just the one adult team as it goes through a transitional rebuilding period. The Brews are a well respected Club known to be capable of beating anyone on their day and their greatest achievement to date came in the 1999/2000 season, when they became the first club in the history of the League to win all 4 of its major trophies in the same season. A feat later repeated by rivals, Market Hotel, who went one better by also adding the Kent Sunday Cup. Brews last enjoyed success in 2009/10, when they won both the Bodkin Cup and Ashford Charity Trophy. The Club are now looking to boost their squad for the coming season and anyone interested should contact the Club Secretary.
