Stalwart Steve calls it a day.

Steve Davis has finally decided to call it a day for the Brews after many years of loyal service to the Club. With the team badly in need of an injection of new blood and younger players, recent signings and activity in the transfer market have seen Steve's chances of playing become limited. Club Secretary, Barrie Croucher, said, " Every Club needs people like Steve, a club member that you could always rely on and would never let you down. He's a fit lad and I'm sure he could easily play on in the lower Leagues, but it's hard going in the Premier and there comes a time when you have to realise it's time to call it a day.  We all hope that Steve continues to come along and support the Club and I'm sure that his enthusiasm and loyalty will help him find a place within the management team of the Club where he can still play an effective part.  I personally would like to thank him for all his work, support and effort that he has given to both me and the Brews over many years of service."
